The project consists of 139 market rate apartments on seven levels with a first floor level containing a retail use and structured parking. The building design bridges the past and the future by incorporating traditional brick facades facing Congress and Deering Streets with contrasting metal siding in between. The building’s shell utilizes an innovative insulated panel system which provides a high insulation value minimizing building energy use. 667 Congress is located on Longfellow Square, a very active public space rich in history, the building design helps define the Western street edge of the square enhancing its sense of place.
